Faithless in Death
by J.D. Robb
Yes, I read every single In Death book and novella JD Robb writes. But some of them grab you more than others. This one might be JD Robb's best yet. For the women in the strictly controlled, closed community Dallas investigates, not only is #MeToo not a thing, they are taught that they have less than no voice and less than no power. It resonates with the powerful impact of what Dochas and women's shelters in the real world do every day to change lives. This week in particular, with the Olympics on and the discussions on the importance of mental health and personal control are all the more important.
