I think overall this book was just not for me. The characters were... intriguing but I think the jumping around from different characters' stories made it hard for me to truly connect with them. It was confusing at times for me with all the jumping around. I typically enjoy multiple POVs because I like being able to know what the other characters are thinking and connecting with them on a different level.
Some of the characters' stories were interesting and I wanted to know what happened but I think the jumping around to other characters in this case took away from it and made me not care as much as I could have. That is if I could keep the stories straight I would have cared and connected more.
I did enjoy the audiobook book I thought they did a good job with that. I don't know if I would have finished it if I hadn't listened to the audiobook. The casting for the voices was well done.
I don't know... the book itself just kinda left me feeling meh. It just wasn't for me but for someone else, they may love it.
