The Map of True Places by Brunonia Barry

3.0

This book has a beautiful, enchanting setting that would make anyone not familiar long to visit the Cape Ann area of Masachusetts. In "The Map of True Places," Salem itself is almost its own character. I did not enjoy this one as much as "The Lace Reader," but I was happy to spend a few days acquainted with the characters in this novel. The way Zee and Michael's relationship turned out was completely predictable, but wow! There is a major surprise/plot twist at the end that I just loved. Enjoy!
