Head Over Heels by Hannah Orenstein

3.0

With the summer Olympics coming up, I dove right into Head Over Heels by Hannah Orenstein.

This was a heartwarming story about love, grief, perseverance, finding new dreams, and fighting for what is right all set against the backdrop of competitive gymnastics.

Additionally, the story weaves in the darker parks of gymnastics including the Assault findings with the US Gymnastics team doctor and the athletes struggle with mental health, isolation, and body dysmorphia.

Overall, I had fun reading this book and learned a lot about gymnastics
