This novel is a fitting and fantastic conclusion to The Poppy War series. As Rin continues along her path, we see her character develop, and watch as the events of the novel shape her. As I read and the number of remaining pages dwindled, my tension grew as I wondered if and how the path Rin was on would turn. I won't tell you if it did, but I will say that the ending was perfect.
