AK Caggiano never fails to suck me into a story, and Faeted to Fall is no exception. Even though this is a novella, it is still a well fleshed out tale with plenty of snark and banter.

Maewyn the (understandably) grumpy heroine is sacrificed by her village to be the human bride to the Autumn fae king. She smuggles a piece of iron in her pocket, hoping to use it to fight off her intended groom and escape. What she finds on the other side of the portal to the fae lands is the snarky and oh, so spoiled brat of a fae prince who very much does not want to marry her either.

After her planned attack fails spectacularly, Maewyn and Prince Roan come to an agreement: they will work together (i.e. Maewyn will do all the work while Roan does spoiled prince stuff) to get Maewyn out of the Autumn Court so Roan can carry on with his prior princely plans.

Definitely recommend of you're looking for a fun, quick romantasy read with antagonists-to-lovers, only one bed, stabbity heroines, and plenty of sass, snark and banter!
