Murphy's Boy by Torey Hayden

I was on my 8th grade when I started to read Torey Hayden's books. I wanted to be a psychologist and Torey was kind of a reference to me (still is). I love her books cuz they always touch me in some way I can't describe. This one was the first Torey Hayden book I read and it changed my life. The story is so touching and thinking it really happened, like omg! Every chapter I discovered a new shocking thing relevant to the story. I totally love her books, the way she works and writes. Murphy's Boy was my first and it's still my favourite because of the impact it had in my life.
