Finally I managed to get out of my reading slump! "The Grownup" was the perfect pick to get me back in the habit of reading! I loved this take on the classic ghost story and how Gillian Flynn was able to shape her characters in such a small number of pages. I'm quite thorn about the ending. While I thought it added a layer of darkness to the story, I also felt the need to know a bit more about certain characters. However, I really enjoyed my first experience with Gillian Flynn and I'm gonna be reading more by her, for sure!
