Art Boss by Kayla Cagan

3.0

In my review of 'Piper Perish' I wasn't very positive. Piper was annoying and mean and her friends weren't likeable either.
I had received the Audiobook of 'Art Boss', before I started reading 'Piper Perish', so I still decided to read the sequel!
Overall, it was better than the first one.

Piper moves to New York to work and earn money that she'll use to go to art school.
Throughout the book she meets new people and faces struggles as she works for a famous artist.
What made this book better was the absence of the major characters in the last book: Marli, Enzo and Kit. Piper was more likeable while she was in New York and didn't cry as much as in the last book!
I would like to give credit to the narrator of the Audio book: Erin Bennett. I loved her voice and I don't think that I would've loved this book as much if I read it. She has a good voice to listen to, even if it was a little slow at times (at some point I just turned up the speed to 1,40. That was a good decision).

To conclude this review: I preferred it over 'Piper Perish, but I still didn't love it. I recommend you listening to the Audio book instead of the physical book!
