The Crowns of Croswald
by D.E. Night
I received an online copy of this book in exchange of a honest review.
I first have to say that I do think this book is light, sweet and easy to read - it's a great book for all ages, for people who love magic and adventure.
I really loved this book! It's full of magic and adventure to the point you can't skip a beat nor put it down. It's sweet, at times sad, and the characters are interesting and thrilling. Our main character, Ivy Lovely, is such a sweet girl who deserves everything in this world - she has such a sad upbringing until she finds the magic in herself. She's also adventurous and full of mischief and life. I also really liked the side characters and can't wait to get my hands on the second book because I really need more of this story as soon as possible. Definitely worth a five stars review. I just really felt like I was going on adventures with Ivy, sitting with Rebecca and following along with Fyn. I hope to see more of this trio as the story develops on the next book. See you in Croswald!
P.S. I give it 5 stars because I truly felt immersed in the story and I couldn't put it down because it was such an easy read. I didn't find it complex (characters or worldbuiling wise) but it was such a good story to make you forget the world that i really think it does deserve all the stars for that.
