Holly's Unjolly Christmas by Lark Green

5.0

Cute, sweet, and spicy with deep emotions! Holly just wants to be alone for Christmas. She's recently divorced and has lost her person- her mother in law who has been the only mother figure she's ever known. Her friends are not understanding why she's mourning this loss, so she chooses to escape to a luxury cabin to be all alone. Plot twist- it's neither luxurious nor is she all alone. The lumberjack demon caretaker, Az, is also there. He's grumpy, unfriendly and also wants to be alone. Together they're able to release a lot of what they're feeling and also discover a connection that neither can fight. Their chemistry is scorching!! I loved not only the mental health representation but also the whole message of it being ok to take care of yourself first. Such a spicy story with a heartfelt message!
