This is a book where the plot is truly just a vessel for a very interesting conversation about human vs nature, and our obsession and fear of our own creations. However, it took me way longer than I expected to figure out what I was following along with and I think that made my enjoyment lessen. I would try another book by Nayler though. The writing itself was engaging. I just got lost along the ride.
