I wanted to give this book a 3 rating, but decided against it. As much as I love the characters/Lords of the Underworld world and the twists I could not get into this book. It was slow going and did not make me want to come back and finish. I did finish it, because I want to read the next book and I dislike skipping books knowingly. The one thing I did love about this book was Gideon speak.
