I agree with @doctorbibbly 's review.

I'm not sure how to rate this book. 
It was a bit all over the place which I guess was on purpose.
It was deeper than I thought and showed how Eric coped with

his loss of two people,

which is kind of a spoiler since it only becomes clear at the end. However, I do feel like he had some kind of mental illness that I feel like he should have gotten more help for/ that should have been addressed more.

On the other hand there were cute and heartfelt moments.
