Cilka's Journey by Heather Morris

4.0

I find this quite hard to rate.
The Tattooist of Auschwitz for me was quite an amazing story but could have been better written, however, it was certainly not bad and I enjoyed it. I find that Cilka's Journey was more beautiful in many ways, and believe that Morris may have been more passionate and intrigued by Cilka's story than Lale's, perhaps as she never met Cilka and this is more of a fictional piece than The Tattooist of Auschwitz, it is not my place to say though.
The book was a nice, pretty easy read, it is amazing to read about the lives of these incredible people who lived through hell.
