The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden
by Jessica Sorensen
I read this after it was recommended to me by a friend. While the writing would have greatly benefitted from an editor (who would have caught slip-ups like A-wall instead of AWOL, comma issues, and just generally cleaned it up), the story itself is addictive. Callie and Kayden are both hiding secrets and dealing with some major issues. Once they meet, though, their respective healings begin. If the story had not ended on such a cliff-hanger I would not be reading the sequel. However, I have come to care about the characters and want to know what happens to them.
If you're looking for stories that involve similar issues or tones, but with off-the-charts writing I would suggest [a:Courtney Summers|1487748|Courtney Summers|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1355950434p2/1487748.jpg].
