Wicked Plants: The Weed That Killed Lincoln's Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities by Amy Stewart
informative
slow-paced
2.5
As expected there was a lot of information in this book, and some of that information stuck. I didn't love the "wicked" element that resulted in the author making things sound more dramatic than I would like in an informative text.
Probably adding to my lower rating of this book is that I listened to it. I am not sure if there were pictures which surely would have added enjoyment. Also, the reader had a less-exaggerated Moira Rose pronunciation, so that was both humorous and occasionally irritating.
