I enjoyed the story and the plot was pretty well thought out. The story explored social, racial, misogynistic and religious issues. I would have wished for a deeper exploration of the darker side of the characters, it was brushed lightly and I think it would have added depth to the story and the main characters. It was the type of plot that I saw coming, but it was presented in a way that did not make me roll my eyes at the expectation of something different. Overall, I enjoyed it and it was pretty good book.
