I enjoyed this book. Very imaginative (which is why I like sci fi) and the Lagos setting was great. The use of local dialects and languages worked well (not over the top, so I could still follow it). I wasn't so keen on the fantasy aspects (various characters with special powers), but that wasn't too intrusive.
Only one criticism.  Bats can see well, also in colour.
