The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

5.0

The character development is beautiful and captivating. What's more captivating is the writing style of the author, the way the narrator speaks. So many senses and objects are personified so wonderfully and the simplest of things are described in such a poetic way, it makes you feel like you are truly seeing from someone else's eyes. The way this book was written is what separates it from many other books that cover the same topic: Nazi Germany. Again, such a beautiful book and will really have your heart at the end.
