I have been recommended this book for YEARS and finally got round to reading it and I finished it in less than a week, which is very fast for me as I'm a slow reader 😅😅
I absolutely loved the mysterious, dark setting and the plot line was pretty good. My fav thing about this book was 100% the setting and mysterious carnival vibes I got from it. I found the writing style helped me to easily imagine my own version of it in my head.
Another point is i absolutely loved the ending! I thought it was a really good way of involving a happy ending ish with the mystery of caraval and the letter helped continue this book onto a sequel. I also really love Julian and Scarlett at the end especially.
Overall this book is extremely clever and I absolutely loved it!!
