Some of the fantasy/paranormal spicy shorts were a bit too beastly for my preferences so I skipped them! Just not my cup of tea. I will be giving a review for the ones I did read though.
A Step Between Realms by Elizabeth Austin

Safety? Safe. FMC’s ex cheated on her which is how she stumbles across the Ogre’s in the first place. MMC has been celibate for some time. Mentions how he tried to scoop up a female ogre for himself in the past but she was already taken by someone else. No active OW/OM drama.

My first ever Ogre story, it was pretty good!

Were there any trigger warnings? Yes.

Safety? Safe-ish? Maybe? There’s no scene with OW/OM, but after the FMC was rejected by the MMC she signed up to help a male throughout his heat. She was on her way to the OM’s cabin when she ran into the MMC. She had been “moping” for a month and decided to get over her being rejected which is how she got signed up to help the OM.
Any extra notes?
I’ve loved everything I’ve read of Lillian Lark’s stories, but this one weirdly enough was the one to be a touch too beastly (just personal preferences). I wasn’t picturing the MMC to be too wolf like until his nose was described as a snout.
Gods May Cry by Lea Jade

Safety? I don’t even know. Technically no OW/OM scenes. The MMC fucked the FMC’s grandma was she was younger though and she got away, so now he’s owed a debt and if the FMC didn’t give herself up then he was going to take her sister. FMC was just broken up with, and was mourning that relationship the majority of the short story.
Any extra notes? All I know is that the FMC is described (age wise) as a “full grown woman” and that her sister is two years younger. It was kinda skeevy to me that the MMC fucked the FMC’s grandma, I wasn’t vibing with that part.
Incubus Dreams by Maeve Black

Safety? No OW/OM. MMC’s an incubus that gets his energy from having sex, it’s been a few months since his last hook up. FMC’s a 25 year old virgin.

I actually really liked this story, I’ll definitely be looking into purchasing the continuation of it!

The relationship first starts between FMC1 and MMC, there is some coercion to get her to sleep with him but once she says yes she is very much into it. FMC2 is someone FMC1 works with. MMC gives FMC1 a piece of himself to grow (he’s a plant person) and so she grows him in her home. FMC2 comes over to FMC1’s home and MMC defends FMC1 because he thought FMC2 was a threat. FMC1 is mildly jealous when he instantly has a nickname for FMC2, but she seems to get over it quickly. They end up all living together.
Sap, Snow, and Spile by Vera Valentine

Safety? MMC1 and MMC2 and in an established relationship, deeply in love with one another. FMC was cheated on by her ex husband. MMC1 and MMC2 both felt attraction towards the FMC but felt guilty because of their loyalty to their other partner. It ends with them being in a MMF relationship.
Any extra notes?
I really enjoyed this book! I loved how they all seemed to be on the same page quickly and it ended with a solid HFN/HEA.

Any extra notes? The FMC is 17. I was going to read the story if there was no sex scenes, but there was one. She is “only months away” from turning 18. The MMC calls her out that she’s lying but then says that he wants inside her pussy more than he cares about being a decent man. I personally do not like when 17 year olds are written into sexually explicit scenes- I don’t find it spicy or hot, it just curls my stomach. So this story was not for me.
