The Left-Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix

Really enjoyed this one! It's an old school YA, no surprise considering the author, by which I mean the prose and form are a little different than most of what comes out now. I picked this up, was immediately reminded of Diana Wayne Jones, and felt right at home as this is *ahem* my YA. That is, the type of book that was common when i was young.
Lots of action, little romamce, old myths, and a male main character who is rather open about gender and gets no flack for it. I also loved the snippets of poetry that started each chapter.
