Ms. Marvel, Vol. 6: Civil War II by G. Willow Wilson

5.0

I feel like this volume is the pinnacle of the series because the conflict is deep and really calls into question Kamala's character. What does she prioritize and what should she prioritize as a hero? Will she go against her morals and everything she's worked for? Will she do what's best? How she deals with all of this really makes the comic the best (or at least my favorite) in the series.

This is also tagged "relatable-to-me" because I experienced the whole last issue (except all the superhero-y stuff) this past summer when I went to Nigeria and saw all my family there. It really is interesting how second generation immigrant kids are a part of both cultures, where their parents are from and where they are now, (in Kamala's case Pakistani and American) but also feel like they (we) are not a part of either.
