I was not expecting this book to be as heavy as it was. Le Guin masterfully tackles the ideas of death as an inevitable part of life and how we cannot run from it, and thus, should cherish it as much as we do life itself. Her writing is so beautiful and evocative, and as always, I fell in love with the main two’s dynamic and found myself so emotional by the end.
