The Viscount and the Vixen by Lorraine Heath

4.0

Whew, this one is an emotional doosie. We finally get to understand George a little better and get the story. In the beginning of this series, all you know is that he is mad and that it happened when his wife died. In the end you figure out that he's just grief stricken, and not as gone as one might imagine. He devises a scheme to marry off his son.

Portia needs the protection of marriage, and so she answers an ad placed by the old man, known to be a madman, anticipating a marriage largely of convenience. Instead she finds herself marriage to the viral and not at all mad Viscount, who thinks she's only after her father's money.

Will her past destroy their future? Will they be able to pull George out of his grief?

Amazing conclusion to a wonderful series!
