I'm really glad that this got made.

Did it have a great plot? No!
Was it this like masterful addition to the lore and canon of one of my all time favorite TV shows? Definitely not!
Was it ultra cheesy? Absolutely!

But leave all this aside and you get a project that is done by people with great passion and love for the characters and what they represent. So in the end we only really have one question that matters:
Was this an incredibly fun experience? Hell yeah!

Furthermore I also think that this is an attempt to somewhat separate itself from the source material (and most likely also from Joss Whedon as a person and his toxic work environment / personality) and try to create it's own little universe. And I think it is on a pretty good way of establishing that.
The ending totally screams: Sequel! And I do really hope that we are going to get that.

So yeah, Buffy fans, listen to this thing! You won't regret it.

P.S. certainly a me problem but I couldn't get it out of my head while listening to this:
I am at a point where it is somehow really weird to me to hear James Marsters speaking a character not named Harry Dresden in an audio book! xD
