The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life by Alice Schroeder

5.0

It was a long, long, book, but it was good. It takes a while to get through and there are quite some sidetracks that don’t necessarily make sense, but it’s a great read after all.

Warren is an amazing guy that values honesty, integrity and great personalities, I like that. The man is good for his family, but not easy. He’s a man of strong principles and a man that has seen it all. It’s funny that, giving away 85% of his fortune, he still became the richest man on earth, before the tech stocks disrupted these long-lasting standards.

I must say, I’d rather have a guy like Buffet be the richest, than Bezos. However, I haven’t read his biography, so who knows my view might chance ;)

I love this quote: “The purpose of life is to be loved by as many people as possible among those you want to have love you”
