Regretting You by Colleen Hoover

5.0

I was 100% sure I wasn’t going to read this book. I love Colleen Hoover and have read and loved every book I’ve read by her thus far, but when I initially came across Regretting You it just didn’t seem like something I’d like. You’re reading this review because I was SO SO wrong.

I’m not good at writing reviews but I feel like I owe it Colleen to string my thoughts about this book into sentences for doubting her for even a second. This book is written from the perspective of Morgan and her 16 year old daughter Clara. It explores their relationship and how it’s effected by a traumatic event that occurs right after her mother’s birthday. The thing I appreciate most about Colleen and her writing is that I always end up feeling every emotion her characters feel. I felt the love, the hate, the regret, and the redemption that she writes about in this book.

I’m so glad I took a chance on this book and you should too.
