A story about an avenger who got his abilities through living his childhood as a soldier, with art that elevated the entire comics medium. This series is grounded, at times intimate, at times a barrel of laughs, and consistently immersive. With characters that are just regular people, this is one of Marvel’s powerhouse titles of late.
