Wow. I didn't expect this to have the feminist spin added like it did. What an interesting book. Some of the scariest phrases I've read in awhile. You can definitely feel Jessie's descent into madness and the change of tone from horror to mystery sent shivers down my spine. Definitely skip this if you don't like gore though. I don't think I'll be using handcuffs in the bedroom anytime soon after this.
