Both the personal and professional present a gloomy mystery for Dr. Brennan in the seventh book of this series.
I liked how the author pulled us along with tidbits of clues wondering how it would all pan out and who would come out the victor. I have to add that I also liked Brennan’s friend, Anne, playing a larger role in this story.
On to the next book! ☝
