Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

It's an ending for everyone, yet for no one, which has left me with mixed feelings.

The characters and their relationships--especially the romance and bromance--are some of my favorites out of any book/series that I have read (much more so than TMI).

I was able to feel the pain and the happiness of the characters--especially Tessa, Will, Jem, Magnus, even Jessamine. SO MANY ROLLER-COASTER EMOTIONS.

Of course my emotions were all over the place as I read...you know...with tears, laughing out loud (both giddily and maniacally), throwing the book, hugging the book...all which I do often when reading and all which are reasons I prefer to read in solitude.

As much as I'm sure I would have enjoyed a main focus on our Jem-Tessa-Will triangle because I love those three, I love them so much, Clare wove in other complications--Mortmain, self-awareness, corruption in the Clave, Jem's illness, etc--to pull us along in frustration, allowing us to be more conscious of the character development and each one's sense of self in the world in which they live.

I Love Henry Branwell.

Just. Aaahhh. Sad it's over, but content.
All things must end, right? (Well, not really..that's where fanfic comes into play)

Cassandra Clare, TMI should have been left at CoG. I hope CoLS ends well. really really. But I shan't get into that here....
