This book is set in the south of the us and follows the path of two boys with mexican roots. they discover what friendship means and how being an adult works.
they are both interesting characters and they're parents are two. its a small world that is shown in the book. there are only the two boys and theyre parents for most of it.
i don't remember feeling so much with characters in a book in a long time. both boys are very lovable and as a reader you will fall in love with at least one of them. especially because the book focuses so much on the emotions of everybody involved.

its a great book, i would definitly recommend it to anybody who likes young adult fiction and queer literature. i loved every page of it.
