Much as I am a sucker for a happy ending, I fully and firmly believe that Jack should have suffered a bit more and a lot longer for what he did in the name of revenge. Like in the context of how fast things moved with these two, I get that a week is a long time to be apart and wallow in the aftermath of his actions, but considering how meticulously he planned this whole revenge plot, I'd say he should have had to deal with that aftermath for at least half the duration of his planning period, so…18 months.

The plot twist that
it was Andrew this whole time that was stalking her and sending her the creepy notes and pictures
honestly felt a bit anticlimactic and like it was placed there for the sake of a plot twist.
Reggie had means, believable motive, and every single opportunity
, and for most of the book every single shred of evidence pointed in that direction, so the sharp turn in another direction gave me a case of whiplash so hard that my head still kind of hurts even after putting the book down. Ohh and also…the monologuing. Like I get that book villains (and not the affectionate kind) kind of have "cringe monologue" as a rite of passage, but taking into account that Morgan mentioned that "the sex was unsatisfying" and having him argue it with "we were elevating sex into art" just made me take a lap before I cackled the walls down.

But honestly overall at least it wasn't too insane like if
it had been the NFL player or the college boyfriend
that was tormenting her instead.

As for Morgan and Brandon's power dynamic abusing, stick up his heiny father though…I've got a bone to pick with him and I fully wanna challenge him to a boxing match. What in the actual fuck is wrong with that dude--
