Famous Last Words by C.W. Farnsworth

5.0

Thank you to Grey’s promotions and to the lovely Charlotte herself for sending me an E-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

One of my favourite books this year.

I love an enemies to lovers hockey romance, but this blows all the others out of the water. It’s not the same recycled storyline - this felt original and had so much depth to it.

I loved the realistic depictions of family conflict and forgiveness and the lasting impact of emotions. The realistic banter between the characters have me butterflies and I loved the connection between Harlow and Conor.

The spice was fantastic and the book read so easily. I could happily read this over and over again. I enjoyed Eve as a character too, she’s so fun.

I adored the scenes on the ice and also the marathon training, as well as the bowling scene too and the boat scene. There are just so many memorable moments. The setting of Washington is just perfect.

What a book!! I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy.
