While technically there isn't anything wrong with Spider-Geddon - the writing is good, the art solid, the pace well handled - it's just that it feels like a retread. Spider-Verse was great on it's own, this sequel really wasn't needed. With the exception of Spiders-Man none of the new Spiders are all that interesting (although some of the back up stories are fun) and the villains are pretty forgetable. While I don't regret reading it at all, there just isn't enough new or really interesting here to recommend it.
