This book was rough, like painful. At least twice, while reading it, I put it down and said, "f this book". I almost didn't pick it back up after the first chapter. It was beautifully written and absolutely heartbreaking. Lamb writes unbelievable characters, you love them, you hate them, you cry for them. Overall, I am glad I read it, but I was SO angry and sad while reading most of it. It is not something I would ever recommend to anyone because the setup is just so awful.
