It was interesting to revisit the goblin/far ecosystem from another perspective.
I like how tholis author approached the idea of *becoming* goblin in a way other writers typically dont. That said, the FMC spends 75% of this book struggling through and/or recovering from traumatic physical abuse and injury. She's unconscious every few chapters and I don't understand how her psyche can even function at any point in the story given what she's been through.
I struggled to find empathy and compassion for the characters and would have liked to see more agency for the main character throughout.
