Beautiful World, Where Are You by Sally Rooney

3.0

I liked the writing style personally, I thought it was interesting and I hadn’t experienced much like it. This is a book seemingly about nothing, but I like that?

The world is full of normal people and not every detail is flushed out in them. Their conversations leave things unsaid, and sometimes we spend our evenings wasting away in front of a social media screen. It’s very real.

I think that the ending was a bit…. Far fetched for the storyline, and if we’re going to get caught up in normalcy I wish we would’ve stuck more to that. I also didn’t care for the push and pull of Eileens relationship. I did like Felix only because he was the only character who had a normal conversation with everyone else, instead of being purposefully aloof.
