Dan and Lucy are roommates - Lucy is getting over a traumatic breakup and relationship while Dan is trying to loose his V card by the end of the year. They make a deal to help each other. After Dan walks in on a seamy moment Lucy is having alone in the shower… feelings start to change for them both.

This was a cute story about healing, love, romance, and friendship. I enjoyed the story and the characters. I was expecting more deliberate healing for Lucy - it felt very “I’m ok since it’s Dan” and not “I’m ok because I’m ok” and I felt like that was hard to get over. I wish they had not told each other the opposite of what they wanted in their partner when having the conversation, it just put the wrong expectations on them both. Overall, I enjoyed the book but for the plot line I felt it was a little drawn out. As always, check for any TW’s and happy reading!
