Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

4.0

In the 50s and 60s women were expected to be demure and complacent. Elizabeth Zott is neither, a chemist through and through this is her journey from chemist, to tv starlett, back to chemist. It has highs and lows. It is very entertaining. There are moments when the book is a tad slow but the pace dowles pick back up. You will find yourself gasping, laughing, and possibly crying at the connections that are weaved within this novel.
