loved it! hated it!
my first stephen king book and it did not disappoint. i feel like this is what i have been searching for in thriller books. i was hooked all the way through and not in the way of how thriller books usually are, in the sense that you just want to know the ending. or maybe that’s just me.
i was tense, i was on the edge of my seat, i was not reading this book after dark so i didn’t get nightmares (not sure if that will work). it felt like watching a thriller but in book form.
some parts like the book within the book kind of dragged because i feel like they didn’t really serve the story, but otherwise so good. will definitely read some more stephen king.
check trigger warnings especially if you’re sensitive to body horror
