Fahrenheit-182: A Memoir
by Mark Hoppus
emotional
funny
inspiring
reflective
fast-paced
I was just cruising along with the first quarter of this, finding Mark’s narration equal parts fun and fumbling, and then suddenly we got deeper and I was absolutely entranced. A big blink-182 fan here, but not an obsessive, this memoir was such a good insight into the inner workings of a group of best friends who stumbled into fame and music success. A few things seemed brushed over, but it really was Mark’s reflections of his own anxiety, anger, and ill health that landed most with me.
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts
