i really thought this book was wonderful and a beautiful take on grief.

the parts of it that were “gross” didn’t gross my out that bad i can’t even lie LOL there were so many lines that i wish i had highlighted.

i thought it was also really great how jessas relationship with how own grief felt like she was the only one feeling it at some points bc that’s really how grief can take hold.

i do think the end was a little rushed bc
the art show went on fire and then all of the sudden jess’s realized what her mother needed. obviously this is how grief operates where one day you’re wallowing and swallowed whole and the next it’s still part of you but feels a little lighter.

i loved it all in all
