Amazing. Informative, political and personal in a perfect balance. Since the book was written shortly after Trump became president in 2016, reading it in 2021 after everything that has happened during his presidency feels almost unreal. Luiselli provides a unique perspective to the situation at the United States' southern border, telling stories from children that she has talked to in the role of a translator in immigration court. I would genuinely recommend this book to everyone.
