The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

3.0

This is hilarious right from the start, before the book even begins. It is snarky, subtly witty, and just random enough to still have class. I enjoyed how the author incorporated the title of the book as a guide book that the characters themselves would reading within the book we would read. Unfortunately this is one of those books that begins much better than it ends, as if the author ran out of steam by the end. It ends for the sequel to continue it, and by the end, I wasn't quite sure what the point of the book was. This was a shame for an otherwise brilliant book.
