Vacationing with the Vampire in Hallow's Cove by Lyonne Riley

A fun and cozy read with a fresh take on vampires that I really enjoyed. The concept of Hallow’s Cove is super intriguing too, I can’t wait to read more of the stories from this universe.
There were a few things that I wish had been a little different, like the leap from Barnaby wanting Maisie gone to them being head over heels in love. But overall it was a cute story, the grumpy sunshine dynamic was done well, I enjoyed that Lyonne never shies away from actual monster f*cking, and the end was sweet.
I liked that Barnaby was portrayed as a kind of a silver fox without it being his own redeeming quality like you sometimes see in vampire novels lol. I loved the connection with his favorite author and the reveal at the end too
