Who Speaks for the Damned by C.S. Harris

4.0

It’s amazing that there isn’t a single wobble in this series. Every book is strong. I loved this installment for the insight we get into Sebastian’s valet, Calhoun, and his mother.

While every historical series in this period deals with the East India Company in some way, in this book, the complicated activity is explained in a way that’s easy to follow (I think it was a Phryne Fisher story that had my head shaking with confusion over the highly regulated trade practices in China).

On to the next!
