This book started off well! I found myself laughing at a lot of the characters jokes, and found the story interesting. But after the countdown that’s in the book, things went quite dark. (Which of course is not unusual for John Green.) I did not like the way the story dragged on at the end, and I found it very difficult to get through.
I did like the diversity of the characters though and found them quite compelling. I also see how this makes a good story, but it didn’t captivate me at the end like I thought it would. I felt like I would never find out what happened to one of the main characters, and the mystery behind the character is the only thing that kept me reading.
Anyways, I am only giving this book the amount of stars I did because I enjoyed the characters!
